Gee we are doing well with keeping our blog updated! Hey...gotta keep the fans happy :p
Less than one week until Al and I are on our way to the UK, fantastic! Its been a busy last week for us both, with Al finishing up his exams and my work being flat out with workshops and presentations. We have 4 more days of work however it wont be as busy so we are now starting to focus and get excited about our holiday overseas.
I met a woman doctor at my recent workshop who was from Glasgow. Naturally I set to asking her about Scotland. She told me that I will love it but that I should watch out for the midgies :/ I will now be going over looking very suspiciously at all bugs that I should come across :p In preparation I have been practising my Scottish accent - nae bother hen.....fit like mate? However Al has told me that I sound like a jamaican gone wrong so clearly I need to keep practising. A few months ago we purchased a 4 CD set with Italian sayings so that we could be somewhat prepared when we spend our week in Italy. Unfortunately it has been gathering dust on our bookshelf so I am going to have to rely on my high school Italian which has become extremely rusty - Come' stai mate?
Speaking of Italy, Al has just whipped up a bolognese and handed me a glass of red wine. What a great guy I have here!! He is looking good with his newly shaved head too - courtesy of Jo Spong hairdresser extraordinaire.
We will hopefully add a post or two from our holiday. In the mean time, hope you are all well and I might be seeing some of you soon!
